I'm committed to building a strong community around Grove Eco, and I'm using the V4V (Value for Value) model to make it happen. By providing value and assistance wherever possible, sharing information, a range of initiatives can grow and flourish for the benefit of many.

V4V - Value for Value

The age-old concept of mutual community support has recently been rebranded as Value for Value.

We don't all have plentiful financial resources to share out, but we do have information, ideas, experience, time and energy in abundance. Is it any wonder the first adopters of modern-day V4V tech were artists, writers, musicians, podcasters!

When a few people start to listen to an idea, and find value, and respond in a practical way, the exchange of valuable information increases. Before you know it, the community's number and its knowledge base is building. Wealth-generating ideas abound. Most innovation comes from the hungry, not the super wealthy, so all members of a community are prompted to act. The pool of tangible financial wealth starts growing, all from sharing ideas and information.

"Rare as Chickens' Teeth" - the newsletter.

A monthly digest centred around the fun and sometimes serious goings-on with our members. From chickens in olive groves to vineyards in mountainous rural Spain to the plains of ... TBA!! Suffice to say, we aim to cover a lot of extra ground in the coming years!

There is a paid membership option with bonus content and exclusive offers.
Members of the community and beyond are invited to submit content. Each month we pay a token 20,000 sats, 4x 5000 sats for the best submissions
If you can't afford a subscription, enjoy the free version. Help us raise awareness by talking to friends or followers on social media about what you have read.

Grove Eco on Nostr social media

Nostr is the only place you will find us on social media. It is free as in beer, and free as in freedom. I have a personal account as Olive Grove Eggs where I post updates on work and play time. DM me if you need any help navigating Nostr. There will be a Grove Eco community group soon, so you can meet and learn from other members on Nostr as well as regular Nostr users, a really positive bunch.

Our business model is based on the belief that most economies will continue facing a terrible struggle against inflation for the next few years, and a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve helps fix that. Tipping and micropayments

Consider tipping us a few sats for providing good info or raising a smile. You can use Lightning payments straight from our website.

We will be accepting BTC for newsletter subscriptions too. If a monthly commitment is too much, consider one-off micro tips in Sats, from literally 1 cent!
On Nostr social media zap us a few sats direct from the lightning icon beneath any post.
Stripe provides a €£$ tipping option but I haven't set it up because of the personal information they request. Privacy is very important to us.
Zaprite is on the radar for a "Stripe/bank/PayPal" alternative. They can process tips in any currency as well as Bitcoin.

In the works

Eco store for growers, artisans and artists, a new approach to affiliate marketing.

Our eco food, crafts and art store will be different. We will partner with local independents around the world, and showcase examples of their products.

Unlike conventional affiliate sellers online, however, if you click on any products from our store, you will see that a) you go direct to the seller and b) we don't use any tracking links to forward you to the artisans' stores. We do this to protect our visitors' privacy, which we take very seriously.

If you make a purchase as a result of visiting our store, we will ask you to consider zapping us a few sats to help support our efforts raising awareness and putting you in direct contact with our members.
If you have a creative graphics talent, consider contributing a design or meme to print on our upcoming line of clothing merch. We are going for irreverent "chicken and egg" material. With payments in Bitcoin we can easily set up a revenue split with you.
