Our aim is to provide you and your family with a guaranteed weekly or bi-weekly supply of fresh eggs at today's prices for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, depending on your preference.

To help us ALL combat the effects of inflation and keep things simple, we ask that you commit to ordering a minimum of 3 months' worth of eggs and pay for them upfront. We will charge you based on our current price per dozen eggs.

By paying upfront, you can beat the impact of inflation and ensure a stable food supply for your household. We recognize that this type of arrangement may not suit everyone, but we know there are many people across Europe who are supportive of this model.

Inflation is a persistent challenge, and we need to think strategically about how to address it. This prepaid egg subscription service is one way to help you and your family maintain access to affordable, high-quality food in the face of rising prices.

The minimum order size is 1 dozen eggs per week or 1 dozen eggs every two weeks per customer.

No problem if you prefer a larger quantity. For more than 4 dozen a week, please contact us to discuss the specific terms.

You can recharge your account in 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month blocks, depending on your preference.

The basic principle is that you should think about your weekly or bi-weekly egg consumption needs, and we will maintain that order and delivery schedule consistently, regardless of weather or other factors.

We do not have the capacity to accommodate varying order sizes or delivery schedules from week to week. The chickens do not lay eggs on demand, so we need to maintain a predictable order and delivery system.

If you find that you are not using all the eggs in a given week, we encourage you to consider sharing them with your neighbours.

If you happen to run short on eggs, we will post daily updates on any available surplus eggs, but these will be for that day's delivery only.

We accept Euros with a debit card and Sats (Bitcoin) with a Lightning wallet. You can pay in person or online with Stripe or Zaprite. All payment details.

To be decided, somewhere around 5434 - 6210 Sats* per dozen or 3.50€ - 4€ a dozen in euros.

• We will deliver to your local drop-off point the same day each week. They are mostly local stores.
• You will receive a reminder on Whatsapp the night before the drop off, stating the time from when you can pick up your eggs.
• Once the delivery has been made, you can pick up the eggs at your convenience, any time, any day. (Check store opening hours)
• Obviously no money changes hands. You just have to show the store owner the Whatsapp alert you received from me the previous day. They will hand over your eggs and tick you off the list. That's it until the following week!
• If you cannot pick up the eggs yourself, by all means forward the reminder message to a neighbour to pick them up for you.

The drop-off points are mostly fruit and veg stores who are participating in our local circular economy scheme. The store owners aren't earning anything from handing out the eggs, but hopefully you will support them, and the community scheme, by buying quality produce from them.

I have run a small scale version of this ordering and delivery system. It works perfectly well for all concerned in that we can maintain prices and a high standard of service. We invite feedback to help us iron out niggles and issues.

Chicken Guy: Check out Primal App on Nostr. Or you could ask Bitcoiner friends to sell you some, or buy them dinner in € and ask them to pay you back in BTC. Check out P2P exchanges too. As long as they run an escrow service, they are safe.

Skeptic Sid: Remind me again, why am I jumping through this crypto kiddy hoop to buy some eggs?

Chicken Guy: You are never going to stop eating eggs. The eggs you buy from me will work out far cheaper for you in Sats compared to paying me in Euros. In fact, because of bank costs and general friction dealing with Euros compared to Bitcoin, the Euro price is 12% more than the equivalent BTC price.

Skeptic Sid: What else can I buy with Bitcoin?

Chicken Guy: Way more than eggs. If you use Bitrefill cards, for instance, you can buy anything you like from any mainstream outlet. I am developing a network of artisans and growers who will accept Bitcoin - or charge you more for payment in £$€!
